Foliopress is a local-first desktop app. The website exists to describe the product and collect early access interest.

The app does not require a Foliopress account, does not include Foliopress cloud sync, and does not send your app data to Foliopress servers. Your configured model providers receive only the generation requests you choose to make.

If you submit the early access form, we receive the email address you provide. We use it to contact you about Foliopress availability, testing builds, and product updates.

Request-access submissions may also store limited context such as browser user agent, accepted language, referring page, submitted page path, and campaign parameters. We use this to understand where early access requests came from and which browser/language environments are represented.

We do not ask for payment details, account credentials, or API keys on this website.

Foliopress stores app data locally in the platform app-data directory.

Local app data may include styles, generated image files, style previews, generation history, provider profiles, model records, and app configuration. Styles live in a local database and can be exported as portable JSON with embedded preview images.

Foliopress is BYOK: you bring your own OpenAI, Gemini, or OpenAI-compatible provider credentials.

API keys are stored in the OS credential store, such as Keychain on macOS or Credential Manager on Windows. They are not stored as plaintext configuration files and are not sent to Foliopress servers.

When you generate artwork, Foliopress sends the relevant prompt, selected model request, and generation inputs to the provider you configured.

Those provider calls are governed by the privacy and data processing terms of the selected provider. Foliopress does not add a separate proxy or hosted generation layer.

The Foliopress app has no telemetry, no analytics, no account system, and no remote sync.

The website is intended to run without behavioral analytics. If this changes, this policy will be updated before analytics or non-essential tracking is introduced. Essential infrastructure logs may be produced by the hosting platform for security and operations.

The website is deployed on Railway. Railway may process standard request metadata, such as IP address, request path, user agent, timestamps, and response status, as part of hosting, security, and operational logging.

These hosting logs are separate from Foliopress app data, which remains local to your machine unless you choose to call a configured model provider.

We do not sell personal information.

We may share limited website data with service providers that operate the website, email delivery, hosting, or security infrastructure. We may also disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or service integrity.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information we hold about you.

For early access emails, you can ask us to remove your address from the list. For data inside the Foliopress desktop app, the primary copy is on your machine and can be managed locally.

Website infrastructure and service providers may process limited website data in countries other than your country of residence.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Foliopress app data remains local unless you choose to call a configured model provider.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, deployment process, or product changes.

The current version will be posted on this page. Material changes will be reflected by updating the last updated date and policy content.
